School of Fitness is literally my happy place! Being a part of the SOF family has had such a positive impact on my life and I couldn't ask for better coaches. Coach Rod, Coach Melissa and Coach Hector, I'm pretty sure that you get tired of me saying this but thank you for always being extremely supportive and for challenging me to be the best version of myself with every workout. There is something really special about SOF.
School of Fitness is not just a gym. It is a place where we meet to exercise in a family environment where not just the coaches encourage you but your peers as well. Coach Rod and Coach Melissa are a phenomenal team when teaching and motivating all athletes to give the very best of each of us in every exercise and movement. They genuinely care about our performance. I have been with SOF for 4 years and joining them has been the best decision of my life. I am more fit and more healthy since joining, allowing me to live a better healthier life. Going to 6am CrossFit is my morning coffee!
TLDR: Clean, Variety, Accountability, Smiling genuine people that are rooting for you to do your best, and you will see results if you consistently attend. Consistently showing up resulted in weight loss, increased strength, improved sleep, and even an improved mood. My watch often shows that I’ve burned 500-800 calories during our classes. Additionally my average resting heart rate is trending down over 10 beats per minute. I love the results! The coaches are very encouraging and do a great job of demonstrating proper and safe form and will help you if your form needs adjustment. Accountability helps me target areas I’m less likely to address on my own like my core which I’ve neglected in the past although I know it could lead to injury.
